Looking for an idea for a healthy and wholesome snack? Do you love to experiment in the kitchen? Or maybe you watch your weight but from time to time you crave something sweet? Then it’s perfect! Because we have prepared for you a healthy and nutritious snack that you don’t have to feel bad about!

Nutritious, healthy and above all delicious cookies, the recipe for which you will find below, are a perfect form of snack. They are perfect especially for moments when you catch yourself craving something sweet. What’s more, they are gluten-free, contain a huge amount of protein, so they quickly bring the feeling of satiety, and also contain many vitamins and nutrients. What’s more, they are quick and easy to prepare. Encouraged? Here we go!

To make the cookies you will need:

  • a can of canned chickpeas
  • handful of raisins, nuts, dates or cranberries (choose what you like best or make a mix)
  • 3-4 tablespoons of peanut butter (choose unsweetened and without palm oil)
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/3 cup erythritol/xylitol or 3-4 tbsp good honey
  • baking paper

Making:

Pour the canned chickpeas into a strainer and rinse thoroughly under running water, then put them into the container of a blender. Add sweetener, baking powder, peanut butter and your favorite nuts. If you are using dates, cut them into smaller pieces. Then blend everything to a smooth paste.

Line a baking tray with baking paper and preheat the oven to 180°C. In the meantime, use a spoon to spoon the mixture into little town cakes and bake for 10-15 minutes.
