Long, shiny and healthy hair is every woman’s dream. How to get it? There are indeed quite a few ways how to get it

Women love to go wild with their hairstyles. One haircut is shorter, the other longer, fiery red, raven black or maybe blonde? There are countless possibilities. The most important thing is to have strong and shiny hair, which grows fast. What to do? There are indeed quite a few ways to do it, and we take a look at the most effective ones!

  1. Be sure to trim your ends regularly

Some women think that if they want long hair, they should skip the haircut. This is a mistake, because regular trimming makes your hair stronger, healthier and less prone to breakage (which in turn shortens its length). It’s therefore a good idea to trim your ends regularly, every month or two.

  1. Avoid bleaches and dyes with ammonia

Strong chemical treatments have a negative effect on your hair. It is therefore better to avoid bleaching agents and harsh ammonia-based hair dyes if you want to have beautiful hair. If you want to change the color of your hair it is better to look for hair colouring preparations, which do not damage your hair and are enriched with plant extracts. If you want to change the colour of your hair slightly you can use natural methods e.g. lighten your hair with chamomile rinse (brew 4 sachets of chamomile and rinse your hair with it after shampooing) or darken it with walnut infusion (crush 6 walnuts and boil them in 2.5 cups of water, rinse your hair with the decoction and shampoo after an hour).

  1. Remember to comb your hair in the evening

Every woman combs her hair in the morning, but in the evening, many people skip this activity. It turns out that this is a mistake. Brushing your hair in the evening stimulates circulation and therefore strengthens the hair roots, which makes the hair stronger and healthier. Simply get into the habit of brushing your hair every day from the top of your head to the ends for a few minutes

  1. Reach for Castor Oil

Do you want your hair to grow faster? Use the power of castor oil. It is a fantastic remedy. The oil contains omega fatty acids as well as vitamins A and E to help hair grow faster, stronger, shinier and thicker. You should oil your hair at least once a week. You can apply oil to the entire length of your hair or to the ends an hour before washing or overnight

  1. Invest in Good Cosmetics

It is worth taking a closer look at the cosmetics, which you use for hair care. Shampoo, conditioner and masks should contain as many natural ingredients as possible. It is better to avoid products containing silicone or other harmful substances and replace them with ones, which contain nettle, horsetail or other herbal extracts. You can also try making homemade masks, such as egg and honey (mix whisked egg yolk with a tablespoon of honey and apply for 15 minutes, then rinse). The mask will strengthen and nourish the hair).

  1. Avoid Rinsing Hair with Hot Water

Who of us does not like a hot, relaxing bath? As it turns out, water that is too warm is not good for your hair. Lukewarm or cool water is much better. This closes the hair cuticles, seals the cuticle and keeps your hair healthy and shiny

  1. Don’t tie your hair up too tightly

A tightly tied ponytail, bun, etc. may be comfortable, but it is not good for your hair. It becomes more susceptible to micro-damage, weak, brittle and prone to hair loss. That’s why it’s a good idea to tie it lightly so that it’s comfortable for you without damaging your hair

  1. Take care of a healthy diet

If we starve ourselves, eat poorly and our diet is low in vitamins and minerals – we can be sure that the hair will be weak, dull, brittle and prone to hair loss. Therefore, if you want to enjoy a beautiful hairstyle, you should make sure to eat plenty of vegetables and fruits every day. It is also worth taking extra supplementation and drinking infusions such as nettle or horsetail, which will further strengthen the hair

  1. Give Your Hair a Rest Sometimes

Most of us spend a lot of time in front of the mirror every day trying to style our hair to perfection. But styling your hair too much is bad for your hair. It’s therefore a good idea to step away from styling mousse, hairspray, straighteners, curling irons and blow-dryers once in a while to give your hair a chance to recover. Your hair will certainly return the favor!

  1. What kind of pillow do you sleep on

Does the material of your pillow make a difference to your hair? It turns out that it does. Rough, harder fabric will cause your hair to break and tangle. That’s why it’s best to choose a pillow made of silk
