Home beauty treatments – what should you know?

Skin care should begin with proper, deep cleansing. It is thanks to this that you can get to the deeper layers of the skin and deeply nourish it. Try home-made masks with delicate plant enzymes that will cleanse your complexion without irritating it. To make a cleansing mask, just mix 4 tablespoons of thick cream with 2 teaspoons of lemon juice. Such a concoction should be applied to the face, leave for 10 minutes, and then, performing a massage, wash off with lukewarm water. The skin should be visibly brighter and refreshed. Afterwards, you can make a steam with herbs (for example chamomile, St. John’s wort or rose water), which will also open the pores and dissolve excess sebum. Afterwards, gently pat your face dry. After such preparation the skin will better absorb the remaining preparations. It is worth remembering that steam bath can be used maximum once in 2-3 weeks, because it cleanses the skin quite deeply. Too frequent use can lead to the opposite effect, increasing the negative skin changes.

  1. Face scrub

Depending on the type and condition of your complexion, the suggested scrubs can be used 1-2 times a week. The best results will be achieved by alternating mechanical, enzymatic and chemical peels. Undoubtedly, one of the most popular home recipes for face scrub is based on oatmeal. It has regenerative and deeply nourishing properties. The complexion after it is refreshed and gets a natural glow. To prepare it you need 3 tablespoons of ground oatmeal, 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil (eg avocado or jojoba oil), 1 tablespoon of honey and two tablespoons of warm milk. All the ingredients should be blended. Apply such a mixture to the face, massaging in circular motions. Leave the peeling for 10 minutes and then wash it off with lukewarm water.

Masks are the next stage of skin care. The effects of home treatments are sometimes equal to the treatments performed in professional beauty parlors. Masks with banana, oatmeal, lemon juice and honey give excellent results.

  1. Home body treatments

It is also worth taking care of the body at home. Home anti-cellulite scrubs are perfect – just mix 3 teaspoons of sugar with coconut oil or other fat, and then rub into the body with dynamic movements. Such a scrub should be done during or immediately after a bath, to conveniently wash off the remaining product from the skin. You can also perform dry brushing – an extremely relaxing activity that gives great results. The skin becomes visibly smoother and firmer after the treatment. Thanks to this treatment our body lotion will be much better absorbed. To nourish the skin of the body, it is worth mixing vegetable oil (it can be raspberry or avocado) with a few drops of essential oil (the best are those with regenerative properties – lavender, rose). Such a mixture should be massaged into the skin and left to absorb
