5 hairstyles for cool and wet weather

It takes approx. 3 minutes to read this article

Hairstyle is a very important part of every woman’s appearance, but when it rains or the wind blows outside the window, we start to worry about it. In our article, we tell you what hairstyle to choose for those chilly autumn days

1. Chignon

The chignon is a tried and tested hair style that many of us have fallen in love with. The chignon fits many hairstyles, is easy to style and very comfortable to wear. What’s more, you can do it in just a few minutes. All you have to do is brush your hair and then tie it twice on top of your head with an elastic band. If you like your hair looser, take out a few strips and loosen the bun. This type of updo will protect your hair from frizz and tangling. It will also make you feel comfortable in gusts of wind

2. Matching braids

We associate them with our childhood, and for several seasons now they have been incredibly fashionable – matched braids. They make each of us look girly and beautiful. They’re not as easy to create as a chignon, though – you’ll need to practice before you can get the perfect ‘do, and you can get someone who knows how to do them to help you get started. The big advantage of this hairstyle for fall and winter is that you’ll be free to wear a hat over it without worrying about messing things up

3. Hairstyles with Headbands

Headbands are a great piece of clothing that can add variety and character to many hairstyles. They are available in many stores in a variety of colors and designs. Their advantage is not only their nice look – headbands are also very practical. Thanks to them, hair does not get in our faces, does not get tangled up and does not go in our eyes. This is very important in windy conditions. However, the disadvantage of headbands is that it is better not to wear a hat on them.

4. Shoulder-length Hairstyles

If you own long hair and have been thinking about cutting it short, fall and winter would be the right time to do it. The hair will be healthier and better able to withstand the harsh weather conditions. Cutting your hair at this time of year has another advantage: If you decide that you don’t like it, you can wear a hat or a hood and your hair will have grown back a bit by spring

5. Waves with Braids

It’s not a good idea to use flat irons and curling irons on humid days – the moisture won’t last long and your hair will frizz quickly. If you want to get waves, opt for making them by braiding overnight. Depending on what kind of curls you want to achieve, make smaller or larger braids. This is best done on wet hair and left overnight. In the morning, detangle them and enjoy beautiful waves resistant to humidity and wind.
